Terms of Service
Effective Date: April 2026 · Peak Document Services
Independent Service Company
Peak Document Services is a private document preparation, concierge, and fulfillment coordination company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an agent of the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. federal government, any foreign government, embassy, or consulate. Our service fees are separate from and in addition to any applicable government fees, filing fees, visa fees, or other fees payable directly to government agencies.
Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order with Peak Document Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service in their entirety. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you should not use our services. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Peak Document Services with respect to the subject matter hereof.
Services Provided
Peak Document Services provides travel document preparation, application assistance, fulfillment coordination, and concierge services for U.S. passports (new applications and renewals), foreign visas, international travel authorizations, apostilles, document notarizations, and related government-issued travel identity documents. Our services include: order intake and personalized consultant assignment; document review and preparation assistance; checklist generation; coordination with applicable government agencies or authorized partners for document submission; real-time status monitoring and customer updates; and delivery of completed documents to the customer.
Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and truthful information in connection with your application. You are responsible for ensuring that all documents submitted are genuine, current, and compliant with applicable government requirements. Peak Document Services performs a good-faith review of your documents but is not responsible for errors, omissions, or misrepresentations made by the customer. If your application is delayed or rejected due to information or documents you provided, our service fee will not be refunded.
Payment Terms
When you place an order, an authorization hold is placed on your payment method for the full service fee. This hold reserves funds but does not constitute a charge. Your payment method will not be charged until your completed travel document has been received and is ready for delivery. Government fees, filing fees, carrier fees, and any fees payable directly to government agencies or third parties are not included in our service fee and are your responsibility. Government fees are non-refundable by us under any circumstances.
Processing Timeframes
Estimated processing timeframes provided at time of order are based on typical government processing times and are not guaranteed. Government agencies may change their processing timelines without notice. Peak Document Services is not responsible for delays caused by the U.S. Department of State, foreign embassies or consulates, or any other government entity. If your situation involves time-sensitive travel, it is your responsibility to contact us promptly so we can assess the most expeditious service option available.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PEAK DOCUMENT SERVICES' LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR OUR SERVICES SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT OF SERVICE FEES ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO PEAK DOCUMENT SERVICES FOR THE SPECIFIC ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. PEAK DOCUMENT SERVICES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST TRAVEL COSTS, CANCELLED TRIPS, MISSED BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS.
Lost or Delayed Documents
Peak Document Services is not responsible for documents lost, delayed, or damaged while in the custody of a government agency or third-party delivery provider. Completed documents are delivered to the customer via the applicable delivery method. In the event of a confirmed delivery failure attributable to our fulfillment process, we will take appropriate corrective action and will waive our service fee for any required reprocessing.
Cancellation
You may cancel your order at any time by contacting us directly. Cancellations received before your documents have been physically received at our facility will result in a full void of the authorization hold. For cancellations after documents have been received but before submission to the government agency, please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Once your application has been submitted, cancellation of the service fee is not available.
Privacy & Data Security
You acknowledge that the nature of travel document services requires the collection and transmission of sensitive personal information. Peak Document Services employs industry-standard security measures to protect your information. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Personal information is shared only with fulfillment partners and government agencies as necessary to complete your service.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arapahoe County, Colorado.
Modifications
Peak Document Services reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
